COVID-19 support for business - grants

West Suffolk Council is responsible for administering Government financial support for businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since March the Government has launched a number of different grant schemes. Each of these schemes has different criteria depending on the time period it relates to, the restrictions that were in place or the types of businesses who can apply.

The time periods for which grants are currently available are set out below. By clicking on the different buttons below, businesses can access the detailed eligibility criteria and the relevant application forms for the various schemes.

Businesses may be eligible for more than one of these time periods. While businesses must complete separate forms for each, the maximum number of forms that needs to be completed is three. Previous successful applicants will only need to check the business and payment information they previously submitted and make a declaration, if the person who most recently applied is completing the form.

Christmas support payments

Until 31 January 2021, pubs who before COVID-19 got less than 50 per cent of their income from food sales can apply for Christmas support payments. The application process for this is included in the forms for other December grants so eligible businesses do not need to complete a separate application.
