Hardwick Heath pond, Bury St Edmunds

There is a council run fishing pond at Hardwick Heath, Bury St Edmunds IP33 2QZ

You will need a permit to fish Hardwick Heath pond. To apply for one, you will need your 12 month rod licence number, including the junior rod licence for children aged 13 to 16 years. The 12 month permit costs £15.75 for an adult and £7.87 for children under 16 years of age.

As from Tuesday 2 April 2024 the cost will be £16.50 for an adult and £2 for children under 16 yeras of age.

Once it reopens you can apply for a fishing permit online. When ordering your fishing permit please allow 10 working days for processing and dispatch.

Newt pond, Haverhill

The Newt Pond Fishing Club manage the fishing pond at Castle Playing Fields, Haverhill, CB9 9BH

You will need a 12 month permit to fish. The cost is:

  • £25 adults
  • £15 senior citizens and disabled
  • £10 juniors 13 to 16 years
