Report a licensed vehicle accident or incident

If a licensed vehicle is involved in any kind of accident or incident which involves:

  • damage to their vehicle
  • damage to another vehicle(s) or any property, or
  • injury to any person or animal

regardless of how minor or who was at fault, the driver must inform the council of the accident or incident in writing within 72 hours.

They must complete an incident report form and submit it to the council, along with photographs of the damage, within 24 hours of reporting the accident or incident. This must be returned by email to: licensing@westsuffolk.gov.uk
