Household waste recycling centres (HWRCs)

The recycling centres have reopened. You must book a time slot online to deposit waste at your local recycling centre. Please do not go to a recycling centre without a booking.

There are 11 Household waste recycling centres (HWRCs) in Suffolk run by Suffolk County Council.

If you want to report a glass bank that needs emptying, please contact our contractors Indigo Waste Services Ltd directly by email: or phone 01842 820804

Do not leave waste or recyclables at the site if the banks are full.

Please contact us if the area around any of our glass, clothing or paper banks needs cleaning up.

Grosvenor Yard, Newmarket car park is being resurfaced during April and May so the bottle banks have been removed. They will be replaced once the work has been completed. The nearest alternative bottle banks can be found at

  • All Saints car park, off of All Saints road
  • Service road behind the Guineas shopping centre
