Additional brown bins
Under the garden waste collection scheme, anyone can sign up for up to four bins at each property. Each bin costs £45 every year.
Extra recycling sacks
You can buy blue recycling sacks online at a cost of £3 for 10 which includes delivery charges (you can use these sacks in the West Suffolk area). We will collect a maximum of two sacks in addition to the contents of your blue bin on collection day. We will not collect additional recycling in bags that are not council issued. If your household is regularly producing more waste than will fit into your bin then it may be possible to provide you with larger or additional bins, provided you meet the following criteria:
- you live in the home full time and
- there are six or more permanent residents or
- somebody in the household has a medical condition which produces a large amount of waste.
- check our Together we can get our recycling right leaflet to make sure you are recycling as much as you can.
If you do not meet this criteria, you do have the option of purchasing a larger (360 litre) blue bin to replace your standard bin for £45 (includes delivery). You cannot purchase larger or additional black bins.

We reserve the right to review larger or additional bins periodically and may withdraw them if circumstances have changed.
How long will it take for my bin to arrive?
The time it takes us to deliver bins can change depending on operational constraints, however we will deliver your bin as soon as practically possible.
