COVID-19 support for business - grants

Since the pandemic began, we have administered more than £120m in business grants and rate relief.

With the Omicron variant of COVID-19 having an impact on businesses, the Government has announced additional support which will be administered locally by West Suffolk Council. Please click on the relevant buttons below to find out more about each including eligibility and how to apply.

The Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant (OHLG) is now open to applications. The deadline for applications is 18 February 2022.

Please note: The Omicron ARG scheme is due to open to applications in the week of 24 January 2022 at which point further information will be available through the button.

We are also modelling a scheme to distribute the COVID-19 Additional Relief Fund (CARF) to those businesses that need it the most and who have not already been helped and will update the webpage below. Our aim is to implement this rate relief to businesses ahead of their annual billing in March. We will update this webpage when we have more detail to share.
