On 1 April 2019 Forest Heath District Council and St Edmundsbury Borough Council will be replaced by a single district council called West Suffolk Council. It will entirely replace the borough and district councils but will continue to deliver the same services while finding improved ways of supporting communities, businesses and the local economy. Over the next few weeks you may notice changes to the website, forms, letters and emails, and there will be limited access to some of our online systems as we prepare for the creation of the new council.
The Abbey Gardens attracts around 1.3 million visitors a year. To the front of the Abbey Gardens facing Angel Hill, in the area known as the forecourt, either side of the Abbey Gate, are four advertising banner poles (two each side).
The council offers rental periods of the banner poles to promote local events and activities. These are offered in two week blocks with a minimum booking of two consecutive weeks.
For available hire dates telephone the Parks department 01284 757088 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are a registered charity or non profit organisation you can advertise your event at these town centre locations in this borough area:
Your banner will be displayed for a maximum of two weeks at a time and we will be responsible for erecting and dismantling your banner.
Costs are £170 + VAT for each location in Bury St Edmunds and £196 + VAT in Haverhill.
Currently there are no facilities for banner advertising on this scale within any other of our borough areas.
