Wheelchair accessible vehicles and provision for assistance dogs
There is no extra charge for assistance dogs, wheelchairs, or mobility aids
Drivers may carry any animal belonging to a passenger (for example pets) at their own discretion anywhere in the vehicle. They must make sure, where necessary, that any animals are suitably restrained or contained so they do not to present a nuisance or hazard to the occupants of the vehicle.
Wheelchair accessible vehicles
The following operators who specialise in providing wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) have agreed to their contact details being made available online. If an operator isn’t on the list, it is because they haven’t opted in to having their contact details made available on West Suffolk Council website.
