Public participation in council meetings

The majority of our meetings are held in public and some are live streamed using YouTube. Past meetings which were live streamed will have links to the recordings alongside the published agenda papers.

Members of the public are able to attend and observe meetings in person.

Calendar of meetings

If you wish to speak at a meeting you need to register. The rules for public speaking can vary depending on the meeting, so please read the relevant guidance before registering. This information is available on the agenda page for the meeting you wish to attend (see links to meetings below).

Registration can be made using the electronic forms linked below, or by contacting Democratic Services by email or phone as shown on this page. In all cases, registration can only be made once the agenda for the meeting has been published and must be submitted by the deadline.
