Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPOs) for alcohol, begging and non congregation of vehicles
Public Space Protection Orders are being introduced in some locations within west Suffolk to prevent public nuisance, antisocial behaviour or disorder.
Within the restricted areas, if you refuse to adhere to the conditions of the order when required to do so by an authorised officer it could result in a Fixed Penalty Notice of £80. If you do not pay the Fixed Penalty Notice then you could be taken to court and fined up to £1,000. This will be a legal requirement from 1 October 2017.
