Newmarket car parks

You can use our cashless service from any of these car parks. The service is operated by RingGo and can be used from any mobile device. You can find instructions on how to use this service from the RingGo website or from any of the pay machines in the car park.

There are no specific motorhome parking bays in Newmarket and some car parks have height restrictions. Car parks with no height restrictions are Grosvenor Yard, Rous Road and St Mary's. Motorhomes can be parked here but users will be expected to pay for the all the bays that their motorhome uses, for example if you park across two bays you will need to buy two pay and display tickets.

To use these charge points you can either use your contactless credit or debit card or sign up to Swarco e-connect and use their app or RFID card. Whatever payment option you are using, the charge points have an interactive touchscreen control to start and stop your parking session. The cost is the same whichever option you use and customers only pay for the energy that they use. These charge points deliver up to 50kWh via a CHAdeMO or CCS connector, which equates to approximately 175 miles of range per hour (depending on vehicle and driving style) or 22kWh via type 2 connector (77 miles range per hour) and are the best to use when you need to refill quickly.
  • We are trialling a small number of lamppost charge points in this car park in partnership with Swarco e-connect. To use these charge points you need to sign up to Swarco e-connect and use their app or RFID card, the cost is per kWh used. These charge points deliver approximately 3.5kWh via a standard type 2 connector, which equates to approximately 12.5 miles of range per hour (depending on vehicle and driving style) and are best to use when parked for longer, for example while working or for overnight charging for residents.
