Dangerous wild animal licence
You may need a licence to keep certain wild animals. This is to ensure that animal welfare standards and health and safety regulations are met. When a new or renewal application is made, a vet will need to make an inspection. The fees for this inspection will be recharged to the applicant. See the full list of animals you need a licence for

How long is my licence valid for?
A licence is valid for two years from 1 January to 31 December. There is no reduction in costs for licences issued part way through the period.
