Multiply Suffolk

Multiply Suffolk is here to deliver bespoke coaching, training, and mentoring to support you into learning and employment across Suffolk. Multiply Suffolk will provide opportunities for you to improve your knowledge, understanding and use of maths in daily life: at home, in learning and in work.

Eligibility criteria:

  • aged 19 and over
  • live in a Suffolk postcode area
  • do not hold a Level 2 qualification or above in Numeracy (GCSE or Functional Skills)

National Careers Service - The Skills Toolkit

Free online courses, tools and resources to help you improve your digital and numeracy skills. The Department for Education has consulted some of the country’s leading educational experts and employers to make up a collection of high quality resources to suit a range of interests and skill levels.

Free level 3 qualifications for adults

Any adult ages 19 and over, who does not already have a level 3 qualification (equivalent at an advanced technical certificate or diploma, or A levels), or higher, can access hundreds of fully funded level 3 courses.

Any adult in England earning under the National Living Wage will also be able to access the qualifications for free, regardless of their prior qualification level.

This offer is part of the government's long-term commitment to help everyone gain skills for life. Courses are available in a variety of lengths, to support adults to get the skills they need to boost their careers. Learners may be able to get help for childcare, travel and other costs.

All 19 to 23 year olds can also access additional courses for free through their legal entitlement to a first full level 3 qualification.

Skills bootcamps

If you are aged 19 and over and looking to change sectors or progress in your current industry, a skills bootcamp could be your next step to a better job. These flexible courses last up to 16 weeks and allow you to gain skills that employers are looking for.

Realise Futures - learning, coaching and advice

Realise Futures' primary aim is to improve and promote the economic and social wellbeing of those who are disadvantaged and/or disabled across Suffolk and Essex. It has a wide range of courses to support you in life and work, provided by learning centres.
