Taxi driver fees and charges consultation June 2022
This consultation is now closed. It was open from 21 June 2022 to 1 August 2022.
Why the taxi fees are being consulted on
West Suffolk Council has responsibility for the regulation and administration of taxi licences in the district. During this time there have been significant increases in the costs in licensing administration which need to be reflected in our fees. The increased workloads are a result of national changes in Government guidance which West Suffolk must follow.
The council is consulting with all stakeholders on the proposed fee changes. We are asking whether you agree that we have followed the correct legislative requirements and used an appropriate approach to setting the fees
The consultation will run from 21 June 2022 to 5pm 1 August 2022.
