Bank holiday bin collection changes in May

Bin-fluencers are being asked to help spread the word about the bin collection changes in May due to the two bank holidays, so family, friends and neighbours don’t miss a collection.

The Early May bank holiday bin collection changes will take place between Monday 4 May and Saturday 9 May.

The Spring bank holiday bin changes will be between Monday 25 May to Saturday 30 May.

Following the May bank holiday bin changes, the Better Recycling campaign and new bin schedule will begin promptly on Monday 1 June 2026.
