Play a vital role in delivering elections by becoming a paid poll clerk, presiding officer or count assistant at future elections!

A large team of people are needed to help ensure that elections are run efficiently, fairly and securely.

Whether you are looking to gain valuable experience, earn additional income, or simply contribute to your local community, individuals from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The roles available:

  • poll clerks work at polling stations to assist voters, issue ballot papers and ensure the smooth running of the voting process
  • presiding officers manage polling stations, supervise poll clerks and ensure compliance with election law and procedures
  • count assistants help to count and verify votes after the polls close, ensuring an accurate and transparent election result.

All roles are provided with full training and competitive pay.

To apply, you must be:

  • at least 18 years old
  • entitled to work in the UK
  • able to remain politically neutral.
