Due to an increased demand with TEN submissions, please follow the guidance, submit as early as possible, and be aware of the absolute minimum timescales for submission (clear working days required). This will make sure your notice is processed in a timely manner and avoid the potential disappointment of an objection.

You can apply for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) if you want to provide a licensable activity for less than seven days. For more details and restrictions, visit: GOV.UK –Temporary Events Notice

Fee

The cost of a Temporary Event Notice is £21 which is non-refundable.

Applying for a TEN

You will need to apply for a licence from your licensing authority which is the council where your event will take place. If you do not know who that is, you can find out by going to GOV.UK - Find your local council

To apply and pay a TEN this must be done by completing one of these forms:

Does tacit authorisation apply?
